How a MORRGARY kit is installed — lay in, lock, close the edges

A MORRGARY kit is a lay-in system: no adhesive, no drilling, no removal of the original floor. Watch the full fitting demonstration, then follow the six-step sequence — the same steps apply whether you fit it yourself or hand it to a local trim shop.

Fitting Demonstration

Full installation, start to finish

One continuous take: the hidden track goes in first, the panels lay and lock on top, then the edges, footrest and trunk close it out.

Installation

Six steps, about 60–90 minutes

Sequence for a full cabin kit. The same steps apply whether you fit it yourself or hand it to a local trim shop.

01

Identify the pattern

We confirm your model and variant against our pattern list. Each kit is cut for one specific floor shape — the scan data decides the panel outline, not a template.

02

Unbox and lay out

Panels, mats, transition bridges, sills, footrest and the track come packed in cabin order. Lay them out in the cabin to confirm the sequence before fitting anything.

03

Fit the hidden track

The fourth-generation aluminum track mounts on the panel underside. There is no drilling into the body and the original floor stays in place.

04

Lay in the panels

Panels align and lock on the track, following the seat rails, central tunnel and footwell contours. Fit tolerance target is under 0.5 mm.

05

Close the edges

Transition bridges cover the joints at door sills and seat rails; welcome sills follow the panel edge line. No visible clips or loose strips remain.

06

Footrest and trunk

The matched footrest and the optional trunk panel go in last, in the same coded finish as the cabin floor.

Left-hand drive and right-hand drive

Our developed patterns are tooled on left-hand-drive vehicles, which covers most of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. If your vehicle is right-hand drive, we build to order: the structure and materials are identical and the panel outline follows the mirrored floor. Send the model, market and steering configuration and we confirm tooling availability and lead time before quoting — no market is excluded.

Installation FAQ

Fitting questions buyers ask

How long does installation take?
A full cabin kit is typically fitted in about 60–90 minutes. The panels and track are a lay-in system, so there is no adhesive, no drilling and no curing time. The first fit takes longer than later ones.
Does installation damage the original floor?
No. The kit sits on the original floor over a hidden track. The original carpet or mats stay underneath and the interior can be returned to standard by lifting the panels out.
Do I need special tools?
No special tooling is required for a standard kit. Basic trim tools help seat the edge pieces neatly; the panels and track are laid in by hand. A fitting guide ships with every kit.
Can it be installed by a local workshop?
Yes. Most buyers have it fitted by their own trim shop or dealer. We ship a fitting guide and support the installer remotely over WhatsApp if anything is unclear.
Does the kit work on right-hand-drive vehicles?
Right-hand-drive builds are made to order. The structure is the same; the panel outline follows the mirrored floor. Send us the model, market and steering configuration and we confirm tooling availability and lead time.
What about heat, humidity and movement?
The panel is a pressed aluminium–wood–aluminium sandwich, so the core is stabilised between metal skins and moves far less than a solid timber board. Kits are used in Gulf heat and Northern European winters alike.
